Awful book. Terrible portrayal of what could have been a good story. Author makes repeated mistakes in time, distance and fuel measurements, but worst was that enemy Mig fighters with a maximum speed of Mach 2.0 repeatedly (and easily) overtook the SR 71, which has an operating speed of Mach 3.5-3.7. The best thing about the book was that it forced me to independently research the operating charicteristics, including speed, ceiling, fuel, and range, of both aircraft to make sure I was not missing something. Character portrayal was nonexistent. Sorry I wasted my time reading it; don't waste yours.Product details
